First outlet opens. Fresh pearls rolled daily become the house rules.

2021–2024
Playground launches — four Singapore outlets for our most experimental brews. The same years, our first franchises open in Malaysia and Korea, pouring the PlayMade classics.

Real tea, brewed fresh
Every leaf is steeped in-store, every day — not poured from a concentrate. If it's not brewed yet, you wait, because that's the point.
It's also the playbook every new market trains on before opening — Malaysia, Korea, and wherever's next runs the same open kitchen, not a shortcut version of it
Real fruit, cut that morning
Our fruit teas start with fruit we've hand-pulped ourselves, not a syrup base. Some days that means a flavour sells out early. We're fine with that.

Pearls rolled daily, nothing held over
Same dough recipe since 2017, made fresh in every outlet, gone by closing. No preservatives, because there's nothing here that needs to last past today.
